Police ID Prince George's Man Found Shot To Death Inside Vehicle In Anne Arundel County

A 43-year-old Prince George's County man was pronounced dead at the scene of an apparent shooting after he was found by members of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department overnight, police say.

Capitol Heights resident Tommy Lee Williams, Jr. has been identified by police as the person who was found unresponsive at approximately 6:40 p.m. on March 28 in a gray Hyundai Santa Fe that was parked in the 2100 block of Baldwin Avenue in Crofton.

First responders found Williams suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his abdomen, and he was pronounced dead by fire department personnel after the area was secured by the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

The incident is now under investigation by homicide detectives. No details about a possible shooter or motive has been released by the department.
